View from my window
I do enjoy combining modern digital cameras with my old manual lenses and some of the paraphernalia I collected. This picture was taken with a fisheye attachment and my Olympus E420 combined with a converter that allows me to use the lenses I had for my faithful Olympus OM2, now sold on to make way for the new generation.
It’s been cropped to preserve the central image, so the distortion is minor, but noticeable, which gives an unsettling look to the scene, and the graininess gives both a retro and dramatic feel. I also like the silhouettes of the clutter in the window area. It makes me feel there’s a story going on, but I’m not quite sure what it is.
