The Lensbaby Composer
I’ve been playing with the Lensbaby Composer Pro that I got for Xmas. What I’m finding is that you have to work a lot harder to get the good shots. This is a good thing since it forces one to think about in-camera composition. This is also manual focus, which I think far more folk with DSLRs should be working with. Autofocus is the Spellchecker of the photography world. If I were made President of the world I would ban spellcheckers on the grounds that they encourage laziness. Don’t fret, though. That’s not on the horizon just yet.
This is Dr Pretorius, a life-size skeleton exactly like the ones featured on The Apprentice recently. He hangs out in our front room and at Christmas he gets all dressed up.
