Clouds over Brymbo

My home village has a touch of the Industrial Gothic about it. A lot of people complain about pylons but I have always loved seeing them marching across the landscape like giants roped together.
This is a fairly recent picture and out of the hundreds of pictures I’ve taken of the area this has to be one of the best.
Despite it being a fairly well-populated area one can be forgiven when wandering amongst these metal monsters for thinking one is completely alone in the world as I hardly ever see a soul when I am there, which is usually exactly how I like it.
